Learn from Ms. Oteia Bruce (Team Network, President) what makes a crowdfunding campaign successful! Oteia has assisted businesses and organizations to secure $1,045,000 in funding in 2013 and $533,300 in 2012 totaling $1,578,300 over a 12-month project period. She has developed over $7.5 million in grants for a Chicago-Based nonprofit and raised $50,000 for the 5th Annual Golf Outing Event. Oteia Bruce has trained non-profit executive leaders nationwide on grant proposal writing as a Federal contractor for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (SAMHSA) under the White House Faith-Based and Community Partners Program. Her extensive background includes being contracted to conduct 3-day workshops in nine9 cities, including: Minneapolis, Spokane, Chicago, Albuquerque, Atlanta, New York (Manhattan), Albany, Kansas City and New Orleans. She has also conducted workshops in Washington, DC, Lincoln, Nebraska, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Rockford, Illinois in prior years.
